Helicopter Spins Wildly into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Shoreline
A helicopter hovering over a popular California shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling uncontrollably, ultimately losing altitude and plunging into a cluster of palm trees as spectators looked on.
Videos uploaded on social media show the chopper starting to spin above the shoreline then descending towards the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palm trees and a staircase near the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five persons were transported to a medical facility including two individuals who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on that day.
Three people on the pavement were injured. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.

Officials indicated the helicopter was connected to an regular “Cars N Copters” fundraising event planned for the next day.
